Fresh Long Beans, also known as Yardlong Beans, Huralikayi and Karamani, are slender green pods with a mild, slightly grassy flavour and a firm bite. They are widely used in South Indian, South-East Asian and East African cooking for poriyal, stir-fries, curries and stews.
