Aashirvaad Tilak is a ceremonial item for Hindu pooja, also spelled puja, and festive rituals such as Raksha Bandhan. It belongs with pooja and festive essentials rather than food or grains. Choose it when preparing the items needed for a tilak ceremony at home or putting together a festive pooja arrangement.
For Raksha Bandhan, tilak is traditionally part of the ceremony before tying a rakhi. Preparing your ritual items together beforehand helps you focus on the occasion, whether you are celebrating with family at home or arranging a small gathering. Use this item according to its packaging directions and the customs you follow.
This listing provides a specific ceremonial item for your pooja preparations, rather than a complete ritual kit. It can be included alongside the other items you choose for a family ceremony. Aashirvaad Tilak is an option for shoppers looking for tilak for Raksha Bandhan or other festive observances in the UK.
Plan the rest of your arrangement around your own traditions. A rakhi, rice, a diya and other pooja items may be used separately as part of a ceremony, but they are not stated as included with this listing. Keep your preparations appropriate to the occasion and follow the product's directions for use.
